NYMEX.com

The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., is the world's largest physical commodity futures exchange and the preeminent trading forum for energy and precious metals.

The Exchange has stood for market integrity and price transparency for more than 130 years.

Transactions executed on the Exchange avoid the risk of counterparty default because the Exchange clearinghouse acts as the counterparty to every trade.

Trading is conducted through two divisions, the NYMEX Division, home to the energy, platinum, and palladium markets; and the COMEX Division, on which all other metals trade.

The Exchange pioneered the development of energy futures and options contracts 26 years ago as means of bringing price transparency and risk management to this vital market.

The Exchange plays a vibrant role in the commercial, civic, and cultural life of New York.

It provides thousands of jobs in the financial services and allied industries and, through the New York Mercantile Exchange Charitable Foundation, supports cultural and social service programs in the downtown community as well as broader charitable endeavors in the metropolitan area.

We invite you to explore our site and learn more about the Exchange, our markets, and other information of public interest.

"Et tu, Brutus?"

"Yes, Caesar!....I have one of the 17 million websites created at Freewebs.com."

Freewebs is a site creation service that lets users make fully functioning sites complete with blogs, forums and chat rooms.

Users start by choosing from over 300 templates and then can go on to add image, photo albums, videos and profiles, all editable with their WYSIWYG page editor.

Freewebs also integrates ratings, comments, widgets, maps, games and an RSS reader.

You can't say that Freewebs skimps on providing site necessities, since they top everything off with a slick Site Manager dashboard.

The Site Manager makes it easy for people to quickly update a page or add a new one.

They have partnered with online photo editor Picnik so users can edit their pictures straight from the site.

Other partners include YouTube, Photobucket, RockYou and MiniClip. Also, if users are interested in ecommerce, Freewebs helps them integrate online payment tools like PayPal into their site.

The company was started by three brothers, $2000 and a single server.
They now claim to have over 17 million websites created using their tools.

What is the stock market if not the reflection of the shareholders. If you want to know the market, you must know the soul of the market....the holders of the stock. Cake Financial just might the ideal place to tap into that soul!!!!

Cake Financial is a social investment service that lets people safely and securely track all their investment portfolios in one place.

The service allows individual investors to track and analyze their historical performance up to ten years. Users can also view the real-time portfolios and performances of their friends, family and top investors all without disclosing net worths, shares owned, portfolio sizes, etc.

Another great feature they provide users are investment "journals" or blogs that can be commented on.

Users can write about their buys and sells, provide advice and ask for advice.

If their journal entry on a certain position is relevant it will be included on the specific position page.

Cake Financial wants to provide investors with "an equal balance of 'actions' and 'words' on the Cake network.

"Most people are pretty private about their personal finances and investment decisions and Cake Financial has special security features to protect this information.
For instance, users can choose anonymous usernames, so they can compare and share investment performance without disclosing their real name.
Also, they use the same security technologies that companies like Wells Fargo, PayPal, Quicken, BankOne, and Citicorp use, which makes sense since most of their staff came from some of these companies.
Once users have built of trusted networks of friends, family and professional investors they can be alerted of their buys and sells via activity alerts.

If you want to find an individual investor with similar investment style but isn't a friend, family member or top investor, the site has a "Match Me Up" feature for finding similar investors.

The site also has a "Top" section that provides users with updates on the most widely held positions, most watched positions, top members by strategy, etc.

Cake Financial is funded by Alsop Louie Partners and angel investors including Baseline Ventures, Fred M. Gibbons and Geoff Ralston.

Competitors include social stock-picking site Covestor and Social Picks.

Online corporate reputations are a valuable source of information for investors who wish to understand as much as possible about a stock before taking the plunge. Perhaps some of us have that wonderfully strong gift of intuition that will spot dangers and opportunities in the information provided by a company like BuzzLogic.

BuzzLogic is a company that helps corporations manage their online reputations. In essence, BuzzLogic enables its customers to pin-point who is influencing the online dialogue specific to the topics related to the company.“Social Media”, the name given to all the thoughts and media the public exchanges online, has boomed over the past couple of years, largely unbeknownst to corporations these conversations sometimes concern. With technology that goes far beyond a mere popularity ranking or a subjective authority evaluation, BuzzLogic software identifies passionate brand or product advocates; their customers can then make their next direct marketing initiative or focus group more effective. The BuzzLogic dashboard is quite clean and simple, allowing customers to directly focus their attention to important matters. Some features include watch-lists to track the shifting influence of bloggers, social maps to visually depict who is linking to who (the “conversational” landscape), and blogger profiles.

What is a comic page anyway........if not a reflection of yourself. If a piece of humour does not tickle your ivories, then you have not reached its level or you have gone so far beyond it that it leaves you irritated and wishing for characters and ideas with greater meaning.

You can read, laugh and run as we all do when reading the comic page.
On a slow lazy morning when the world's pressures can't find you, try reflecting on some of those
special cartoons that really stir your happy hormones....and ask yourself why?

Sylvia
Witty and outgoing, Sylvia casts her opinion upon an unsuspecting world via the claw-foot bathtub where she conducts her life as a free-lance writer, director of self-help seminars and administrator of special goddesses.

Rita
More domesticated than her mother will ever be, Rita eats well, is neat and has a job –- keeping her mother, Sylvia, in check (and out of the tub) when she can.

The Lonely Detective
A product of Sylvia's career as a creative writer, this private eye is based on Raymond Chandler’s Lou Archer. He works by himself in a rundown office and has a soft heart for people in trouble.

Bad Girls
These ladies bring up controversial topics from seedy corners of Capitol Hill and discuss them openly, making them very bad girls. Alien Lover He's the perfect guy. He treats his wife to a life filled with every woman’s most elaborate fantasies. Would you like your homemade profiteroles for tomorrow's breakfast with a chocolate or honey lavender sauce?

Hypno-Hotline
If you'd like to be convinced that the government isn’t going to drill in the Arctic, for example, Earl and Gladys will be happy to make your life a little easier through hypnotic therapy (for a small processing fee.)

Cats With Signs
When these cats have something to say, they take over the strip, offering funny quips via their sandwich boards.Special GoddessesDon't spend your afternoon on silly time-sucking activities. In Sylvia, bureaucratic nonsense and red tape are left to the care of your special goddess. A little fantasy all of us hold dear. The Woman Who Does Everything More Beautifully Than You DoDoes your life not quite measure up to some ideal you've forced upon yourself? This woman is so sure of herself it’s sickening, but Hollander reminds us that it's OK not to be perfect. After all, even perfectionists can wind up in front of Senate Sub-Committees.

Clyde
The Free-lance ScientistKeeping up with the most outlandish areas of science, Hollander gives us Clyde. His experiments always have some basis in real-world invention, but he takes them to the realms of the fantastic.

It was summertime in the late sixties....perhaps 1968...when my Uncle Richard stopped by my home to invite me to his jobsite for the day.

Uncle Richard worked at the movie studios in Southern California and I never refused that kind of opportunity.

He left me at the Star Trek set after introducing me to DeForrest Kelly and some gorgeous ladies dressed as scantily clad aliens. The colors and costume designs were eye candy. I'll say nothing about those beautiful actresses with perfect bodies.

The space ship Enterprise in that warehouse consisted of rooms constructed of plywood walls with only the interior decorated as you would see it on the TV for that Classic series.

All those automatic sliding doors that we see on the series were anything but automatic.
They too were plywood. On the non-viewing side of those sliding doors you would find a simple wood construction with wooden handles that were used during scene shooting by gofers or set crews to open and shut the sliding doors manually.....one person for each door and coordinated as best as they could.
If you focus on those sliding doors in the old Classic series, you will occasionally see where that coordination went awry and one sliding door might tilt a little before closing.

Bones' working quarters was very simply built with a rather uncomfortable bed consisting of an inch thick piece of foam covered in glittery fabric.

I sat in the captain's chair and visited each ship compartment. The magic of TV cameras made it look great; but in reality, it was a homely set with absolutely nothing technical about it. I dare not lean against a wall "inside" the ship as that wall might topple over.

Kelley spent a few seconds with me in a distracted fashion as he was very much absorbed in sipping coffee with those beautiful alien ladies. DeForrest looked very old to me, but I was very young at the time.

Apparently, the work for that time only involved Kelly, the alienettes and a very big fellow in alien costume. Captain Kirk and the gang were not there.

I did not have a camera; it is unfortunate as I could have shared some interesting pictures with Trekkies.

Whenever I watch a classic, I can't take my eyes off those sliding doors as I want to catch the set crew fumbling with those very crude panels.

Why Blogging is Like Alcohol @ chrisg.com

http://www.chrisg.com/why-blogging-is-like-alcohol/

Why Blogging is Like Alcohol

Have you seen Jon’s “Drunk on Your Own Words” post at Copyblogger? It’s a good piece, go read it if you haven’t already. After reading it I realized blogging has some things in common with drinking the booze:

Inhibitions - For some of us blogging can strip away inhibitions. This could be in the way people deal with criticism or trolls, lashing out in a way they never would in real life, or it could be just the lack of self censorship. I have seen people say stuff in a blog that they would never say in mixed company in face to face meetings. Everything from details of their sexual encounters to political opinions and bigotry. Is it interesting human interest or “over share”? You decide …
Solution: Don’t post in haste. Write like your mum or boss is reading.

Arrogance - We have all seen at one time a cocky drunk. The “I can take on anyone in the room” guy. Some people seem to take a blog audience as confirmation of their infallibility and fame. Everyone else is there as a potential victim to be torn down. This seems particularly rife in the tech and celebrity sectors. Thankfully in both cases someone usually gives them a reality check eventually.
Solution: Realize you are not perfect yourself and what you put out you get back.

Despair - Just like alcohol can be a mood enhancer for both good and bad moods, blogs can either make you feel more connected or exaggerate your feelings of being unloved and alone. People are often asking me why nobody visits? why will no one comment? why doesn’t anyone like my blog? Just like when the booze alters your judgment, sometimes we find it difficult to be objective about our blogging so continue as we always have while getting more unhappy.
Solution: Make friends in forums, comment on others blogs, chat on IM and email. Other people are usually happy to let you know the truth of the situation or just give support.

Buzz - People drink for the buzz, for that elevation of mood. Blogging can make you happy, and can make you super-friendly. This is great but don’t let it loosen your grip on reality. Being friendly is great but not every visitor wants to be your friend. When drinking hold on to your wallet and keys, when blogging look after your passwords and privacy.
Solution: Post in draft, do not reveal too much, have clear procedures for keeping details safe and not always using the same passwords, keep backups.

Hangover - Inevitably realty sets in and you look at recent events objectively. You have to clean up your mess and feel the sting of shame every time you remember what you said or did.
Solution: Prevention is easier than cure but if you do find yourself having to clear up a mess, be honest and remorseful and hope people forgive and forget!

The answer might be “don’t drink”, but like most things in life, moderation with a clear mind is the key!
Does any of this ring true for you or am I just blog drunk again?

IHS :: About the Institute for Humanist Studies:

"The Institute for Humanist Studies (IHS) is a think tank whose mission is to promote greater public awareness, understanding, and support for humanism. The Institute specializes in pioneering new technology and methods for the advancement of humanism."

Humanism is a philosophy of life inspired by humanity and guided by reason. It provides the basis for a fulfilling and ethical life without religion.

Humanists make sense of the world using reason, experience and shared human values.

Humanists see no convincing evidence for gods, the supernatural, or life after death.

Humanists believe that moral values are properly founded on human empathy and scientific understanding.

Humanists believe we must live this life on the basis that it is the only life we'll have -- that, therefore, we must make the most of it for ourselves, each other, and our world.

Humanist philosophies have arisen separately in many different cultures over many thousands of years. Whether or not they use the term humanism, tens of millions of Americans and hundreds of millions of people around the world agree with the humanist philosophy of living a happy and productive life based on reason and compassion.

The UpDown: A social network for investors.

Learn investing with virtual portfolios.
Contribute stock analyses and ideas.
Earn real $.
Investment club tools.
Portfolio competitions.

Investing social network The UpDown has taken a slightly different take on investment communities than the likes of Marketocracy, Covestor, and others.

Users invest a simulated portfolio starting with $1 million and are paid based on their ability to consistently out-perform the S&P 500. And users who refer a friend pick up 10% of any earnings that friend rakes in. Since the beta launch in June, members have made thousands of dollars off the site.

But not only is The UpDown a destination for investors to collaborate and compete using virtual portfolios and real-life brokerage simulations, its members also have a chance to make real money derived from their on-site analyses.

By aggregating the trading activity of its members, they compile a community-based investment strategy, which is then used to manage a real-life fund. They believe that the organic competitive analysis is the ultimate hedge to investment risk.

The revenues from this fund are shared with the top members of The UpDown on a weekly and monthly basis. It all comes down to the individual investors - the more qualitative their insight, the higher the fund dividends, and the more money they'll earn.

MyDogSpace.com is a new, interactive, online community for all dogs and dog lovers.

Robert and his doggie co-founder, Hershey, are the creators of MyDogSpace.com. "Before we began MyDogSpace.com, there were forums and websites for pet owners, but no central online community for those who love dogs" says Robert. "It finally occurred to me that dog owners of all ages would enjoy their own online space, a central hub, to connect to other dog owners for advice, sharing stories, friendship and meeting up for doggy play dates."

MyDogSpace.com is filling up fast, as people fill out profiles for their favorite canines. Each profile allows for the dog's personality to shine through, by providing space for them to share their sex, age, breed, size, mating habits, favorite foods, toys and tricks, as well as their pet peeves and a place for them to introduce themselves.

MyDogSpace.com is well constructed, easy to use and fresh in design. The forums are active and the users are already using the extensive profile features such as colored backgrounds.

It was only natural for them to launch MyCatSpace.com, a place for cats and cat lovers to connect.

Story of My Life

Story of My Life

StoryOfMyLife.com offers users a place to create a multi-media personal life story that will be stored forever.

A separate 501(c)(3) non-profit called the Story of My Life Foundation has also been established with the mission of keeping the stories maintained and accessible in perpetuity.

The goal is to get a Story about every single person both living and deceased. They want to create the largest online collection of life Stories in the world, and preserve them - forever.

Stories posted include people’s backgrounds, hopes, dreams, family history and other details. Stories of different family members are linked together so that users will be able to read them for generations without worry of them being lost, destroyed, or erased.
In order to alleviate fears of spilling family secrets, Stories and files can be private or released in the future by placing them in “time capsules“.
Storyofmylife.com users create private networks for families who want to share stories, pictures, videos, and keep in touch; for those to whom leaving their legacy is important; and for boomers who are reaching retirement and becoming interested in genealogy and recording stories.

The site remains free to use so long as there is activity on the account. Once an account has gone six months without activity the system begins attempting to contact the user or guardian that the person has assigned to manage the account.
For $1 per megabyte, the user or guardian can opt to move the story into a permanent archive called “Forever Space.”

The Story of My Life Foundation receives a portion of all Forever Space purchases. These proceeds go into an endowment fund that provides funding to cover storage costs in perpetuity.

StoryOfMyLife.com is certainly one of the strangest websites we have come across.

While i am sure there are some people who would like to record their life and leave it on the internet i wonder whether internet users in general would ever get around to creating their own story.

What You Need, When You Need It!

WooMe is an exciting dating site. With investment from one of Skype´s founders WooMe aims to woo the dating industry. Frostfire spoke to their founder to learn a little more.

Where did your idea come from?

Stephen was hanging out with his 23 year old sister and her friends who were all complaining about how lame online dating sites were, but how much fun speed dating was. Stephen, who was looking at nascent in-browser voice and video technologies for British Telecom as its youngest VP, put two and two together and created a cutting edge speed introduction platform where people could have fun meeting others without the overhead of lengthy profiles or dating stigma.

What is your elevator pitch?

WooMe is an introduction platform where you can meet five people in five minutes in live video speed sessions.
There are no long forms or lengthy profile descriptions, simply find a session that interests you and meet 5 people in 5 minutes. Or, create your own sessions based on your interests - such as "Tech lovers in San Francisco." -Invite friends or strangers to play with you and immediately decide if you are woo'd by someone. WooMe's cutting edge in-browser video and voice capability delivers a live interactive experience.

How is your proposition different from competitors? Who do you see as your main competition?

1) it is a completely innovative user proposition based on topical speed sessions (vs profiles) that replicates the offline speed dating model (users meet five people in five minutes live) 2) leverages cutting edge in-browser voice and video technology, ie no client downloads or clunky user experience3) users can create their own session topics and leverage viral tools to invite people

Why will you succeed?

We have a great team and a great idea. The technology itself is cutting edge with over 15,000 man hours of optimization that has gone into it.
WooMe takes social networking, online dating and online gaming into new territory bridging the gap between offline and online worlds.

What are your biggest successes so far?

User side - have had over 1000 speed sessions with over 30,000 introductions made within those sessions. of the 30,000 people who have met, over 7000 have mutaully "woo'd" each other (both said they connect with other person).
Technology side - in-browser communication aspects optimized to point that is better than skype quality (to point where Skype founders have invested)
How will/do you make money?
In a session, if both parties select "I was woo'd" vs "no thanks" it is a successful woo and they have the opportunity to pay $1 for the person's contact info.
How do you market your site?
Social media, facebook, PR, targeted campus campaigns, sem.

Have you received funding? If so, how much and from whom?

$2m from Nikkalas Zennstrom (Skype founder), Klaus Hommels (Venture Partner at Benchmark) and Mangrove Capital

Conscious Entities

Conscious Entities

These pages are devoted to short discussions of some of the major thinkers and theories about consciousness. The selection of topics is idiosyncratic and there are still some regrettable omissions. The pieces are meant to be brief and lively, and written from a distinct point of view (sometimes more than one point of view), and this naturally makes it difficult at times to do full justice to the views or the people under consideration. But no-one is mentioned here who I do not sincerely respect and admire, however much I may think they are mistaken on some points. Clearly the only way to get a full understanding of what someone is saying is to read their own books, a course I heartily recommend. One possible source of confusion is that some of the discussions here are presented as dialogues between two different characters. One of these, whom I think of as 'Blandula', after the Emperor Hadrian's verse addressed to his own soul, is represented by a sort of cherub, and is suspicious of reductive and materialist ideas: the other, ('Bitbucket', represented by an abacus) takes the opposite view. I hope this helps both sides to benefit from vigorous advocacy, but the two characters are merely figments of my imagination and I cannot supply email addresses for either of them.

Booktagger - Your Online Book Collection

BookTagger started off like any good journey, with a woman.Rebecca, an avid reader and fellow internet addict, could not find afree and appealing service on the internet where she could storememories of books and share them easily with family and friends.
I took it as a personal challenge to implement what she was looking for. With Rebecca's continued creative input I designed a unique way ofsharing books that functions more like an application and less likethe traditional internet experience. Along the way I also acquired anexcellent mentor and a development partner, who I could not have completedthis journey without. Like any good saga our story is just getting started.
Each BookTagger profile is a graphical representation of your physicalbookshelf on the internet. The bookshelf can then be shared withfriends, family and others searching for the next good read. We hopeyou'll congregate into book clubs and share reading experiences. Ormaybe you'll catalogue all your books and track to whom they've beenlent.

UNRV History - Roman Empire

UNRV... United Nations of Roma Victrix represents the all encompassing power of Rome in the ancient world. United and Romanized, through conquest, or absorbed through its culture, Rome still stands today as a legacy to the achievement of mankind, and its failures.

UNRV Roman Empire aims to give visitors a substantial look into what Rome was. We will delve into all aspects of its society and those of her neighbors, and perhaps share a greater understanding of our own world through that of the past.

Through the sharing of archeological news, and in-depth content, we can only hope that just one person will be inspired to dig deeper into history. We hope to provide a forum for those who study Rome in all forms. A place for scholars, students and those who seek to learn, to exchange ideas and gather information. Perhaps just one influenced mind will discover the next Rosetta Stone, or unveil lost secrets of the archaeological world.

Welcome and enjoy,

Herbal Supplements and Health Foods towards Nutrition Energy

Herbal Supplements and Health Foods towards Nutrition Energy

Cayenne - The King of HerbsNewsletter: Vol. 5 Issue 2a -

Cayenne pepper delivers healing blood (the river of life) into sick or dying organs better than any other herb or medicine.

Dr. John Christopher, famous natural healer, praised the use of Cayenne throughout the time of his practice. He had this to say in his Newsletter titled "Cayenne", Vol 1, Number 12

"In 35 years of practice, and working with the people and teaching, I have never on house calls lost one heart attack patient and the reason is, whenever I go in--if they are still breathing--I pour down them a cup of cayenne tea (a teaspoon of cayenne in a cup of hot water, and within minutes they are up and around). This is one of the fastest acting aids we could ever give for the heart, because it feeds that heart immediately. Most hearts are suffering from malnutrition because of processed food we are eating, but here it gets a good powerful dose of real food and it's something that has brought people in time after time. This is something that everyone should know how great it is, because a heart attack can come to your friends or loved ones any time. And even yourself. The warm tea is faster working than tablets, capsules, cold tea, because the warm tea opens up the cell structure--makes it expand and accept the cayenne that much faster, and it goes directly to the heart, through the artery system, and feeds it in powerful food.

To show the value of cayenne, and how great it is, and what a wonderful heart food it is, this story has been repeated in a number of publications on doctors in the East who put some live heart tissue into a sterile beaker filled with distilled water, and fed it nothing but cayenne pepper, cleaning off sediments periodically and adding nothing but distilled water from natural evaporation. During the time that they were feeding the heart tissue, they would have to trim it continually every few days because it would grow so rapidly. Having no control glands (pituitary and pineal glands), the tissue just continued to grow rapidly and, because of this, they had to watch it over the years and the doctors and associates kept the heart tissue alive for fifteen years. After the doctor died, his associates kept it alive for two more years before destroying it so they could do more research work on it. This shows the high food value cayenne gives to heart tissue. This is why so many, many amazing instances have come to light, people who have used cayenne when they had heart attacks because, in most cases, your heart attack is a case of malnutrition. The heart hasn't had a decent meal for so long that it is practically starved, and we give it immediately a good meal instead of whipping it with nitroglycerine or digitalis or some other type of drug to force it to beat rapidly to bring more food values to the heart so that it could find a little help to keep going. Here we give the cayenne directly to the system, and it goes into the heart area acting as a good full meal. Many fast responses come from this."
________________________________________________________________________
"Many of the old herbalist claim that in cases of severe cuts, gunshot wounds, etc., cayenne can be taken internally as a tea and the bleeding will stop by the time, in most cases, you can caount to ten. Cayenne goes immediately into the blood stream and adjusts the blood pressure from the top of the ead, to the bottom of the feet, equalizing pressure over the whole body. This takes high pressure, which casues rapid bleeding, away from the wound and clotting starts immediately."
"A person in our audience told how he had cut deeply with a sharp instrument the inside of his hand, fingers and palm. The blood spurted out in streams. He poured a large amount of cayenne pepper into the wound, and within seconds the blood flow slowed down to congealed dripping and the bleeding stopped entirely before many seconds had passed. With a goodly amount of cayenne covering the wound, he then wrapped it. He was so excited about the rapid results he could hardly wait for the regular herb meeting. But, as he said, the "punch line" was lost, because instead of a nasty ragged scar to show how severely he had been hurt, the area was healed and there was no scar."
________________________________________________________________________
Cayenne is a unique herb in that makes everything else it is put with, work so much better. A good analogy might be, "Does one have to step on the accelerator peddle to make the car move? No, one could just put it in gear and go down the road at idle speed. As long as the upward incline was not too steep, the car would continue to go forward. But, if you step on the gas, it goes much faster and has much more power to go up difficult grades. Cayenne is like having an accelerator peddle that works. The more cayenne you use, the further down the accelerator peddle is being pressed and the more powerfully one achieves the health goals desired". This is most quickly seen in cases where the heart is the main target of one's healing program.
When there is blockage, there is starvation, then stagnation and finally disease. Using Cayenne gets circulation where it is needed. Without Cayenne, a cure may come slowly or not at all. Cayenne moves blood to the sick and dying organs and with it nutrients and healing bio-chemicals. At the same time it gets the waste materials carried away.
Bite on a habanero pepper and your head turns red instantly. That's a rush of blood that no pharmaceutical drug/poisons can create.
Taking Cayenne in capsules is not the way to get healing to most effectively happen. Much of Cayenne's healing starts to occur in your mouth. As Cayenne touches your tongue, nerve endings send signals throughout the body, sending along with it waves of resh blood to wherever your body is sick. These surges of fresh blood do not occur when you bypass the mouth by taking capsules.
For best results, Cayenne should be taken with something else rather than all by itself. Eat a meal, take a load of Cayenne along with it to boost the bodies digestive system. Take Cayenne with all of the herbal preparations one uses; both internally, and externally in the form of poultices and ointments.
Taking Ginkgo Biloba is well known to help with memory and other mental functions. However, it is often found to be effective with only 20% of the most serious cases. If the memory (or life) of someone you love is slipping away, 20% is very poor odds. Use Cayenne to surge the Ginkgo up into the brain, and that percentage is increased to 95%, with big time results.
With all diseases, there is blockage of blood flow to the sick area. No blood, no healing. Cayenne is like a fast moving train that rolls through such blockages. All of the best herbal preparations in world can't help you if they cannot reach the sick parts.
When it comes to Cayenne, dosage and "hotness" is everything. The amount you would use for a sore throat is much less than that used for a blood clot or brain hemorrhage. When it is a life or death matter, heavy use of Cayenne is the order of the day, every day. A Cayenne Tea can be easily prepared by using 1/4 teaspoon ( or more) of powder in a cup of distilled water, or ten or more drops of Cayenne Concentrate in a dup of water. Drinking such a beverage with one's meals is an excellent aid to the absorbtion of nutrients.

So you think you’re better than me? Well, do ya…

If you think you are better than me simply comment in this post with your challenge for all to see. I will answer each challenge in the order that they come. But there are a couple ground rules for challenging:

Rules

1. All challenges must be made on this site. I will not simply go searching for people challenging me on their blogs.
2. Unless your are a truly famous figure ( Tennis players, Opera Singers, Soap Stars etc.. YOU ARE NOT FAMOUS) you must provide a link to a website about your self or list your major qualities. Your Myspace will be prefect if you don’t have a real website.
3. You can challenge me to ANYTHING and I mean Anything.
4. If you respond to my challenge please be kind enough to link back to me in your challege ” I am better than you ” is perfect

National Novel Writing Month

National Novel Writing Month

National Novel Writing Month is a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to novel writing. Participants begin writing November 1. The goal is to write a 175-page (50,000-word) novel by midnight, November 30.

Valuing enthusiasm and perseverance over painstaking craft, NaNoWriMo is a novel-writing program for everyone who has thought fleetingly about writing a novel but has been scared away by the time and effort involved.

Because of the limited writing window, the ONLY thing that matters in NaNoWriMo is output. It's all about quantity, not quality. The kamikaze approach forces you to lower your expectations, take risks, and write on the fly.

Make no mistake: You will be writing a lot of crap. And that's a good thing. By forcing yourself to write so intensely, you are giving yourself permission to make mistakes. To forgo the endless tweaking and editing and just create. To build without tearing down.

As you spend November writing, you can draw comfort from the fact that, all around the world, other National Novel Writing Month participants are going through the same joys and sorrows of producing the Great Frantic Novel. Wrimos meet throughout the month to offer encouragement, commiseration, and—when the thing is done—the kind of raucous celebrations that tend to frighten animals and small children.

In 2007, we had over 100,000 participants. More than 15,000 of them crossed the 50k finish line by the midnight deadline, entering into the annals of NaNoWriMo superstardom forever. They started the month as auto mechanics, out-of-work actors, and middle school English teachers. They walked away novelists.

So, to recap:

What: Writing one 50,000-word novel from scratch in a month's time.

Who: You! We can't do this unless we have some other people trying it as well. Let's write laughably awful yet lengthy prose together.

Why: The reasons are endless! To actively participate in one of our era's most enchanting art forms! To write without having to obsess over quality. To be able to make obscure references to passages from our novels at parties. To be able to mock real novelists who dawdle on and on, taking far longer than 30 days to produce their work.

When: You can sign up anytime to add your name to the roster and browse the forums. Writing begins November 1. To be added to the official list of winners, you must reach the 50,000-word mark by November 30 at midnight. Once your novel has been verified by our web-based team of robotic word counters, the partying begins.

Still confused? Just visit the How NaNoWriMo Works page!

Law-breaking liquid defies the rules

Physicists in France have discovered a liquid that "freezes" when it is heated. Marie Plazanet and colleagues at the Université Joseph Fourier and the Institut Laue-Langevin, both in Grenoble, found that a simple solution composed of two organic compounds becomes a solid when it is heated to temperatures between 45 and 75°C, and becomes a liquid when cooled again. The team says that hydrogen bonds are responsible for this novel behaviour (M Plazanet et al. 2004 J. Chem. Phys 121 5031).

The ten perfections or qualities leading to Buddhahood

1 Dana: Generosity

Just as a pot full of water when turned upside down lets all the liquid run out and takes none of it back, so the perfection of generosity consists of not having the slightest thought of remorse over what has been given away, even if one sacrifices absolutely everything.

POTENTIAL 2 SUCCESS - Start Meaningful Conversations

POTENTIAL 2 SUCCESS - Start Meaningful Conversations

Have you ever been in a room where you didn’t know anybody and it seemed like everyone knew everyone else? If you look close enough you’d probably notice that there are a few people who may not know anybody else but are somehow making their way around the room and socializing with a number of different people. The ability to start a meaningful conversation is a unique and valuable skill to have. The good news is that anybody can learn and master this skill. The bad news is that most people believe that they can’t learn how to start conversations effectively. Fortunately for you, you’re not one of those people. Even if you are, I’m going to give you some foolproof ways to successfully start a conversation. Whether you are in a networking meeting, café, or just walking down the street, people are everywhere and now it’s time to master how to meet them.

How do anti-lock brake systems work?
If you brake your car too rapidly, the force of static friction between the wheels and the ground will become so large that it will exceed its limit and the wheels will begin to skid across the ground. Once skidding occurs, the stopping force becomes sliding friction instead of static friction. The sliding friction force is generally weaker than the maximum static friction force, so the stopping rate drops. But more importantly, you lose steering when the wheels skid. An anti-lock braking system senses when the wheels suddenly stop turning during braking and briefly release the brakes. The wheel can then turn again and static friction can reappear between the wheel and the ground.

If you are tired of receiving junk mail, spam and annoying telemarketing phone calls, then this list is for you. If you desire to take steps to stop the snooping from the government, hackers and marketing agencies, then this list will show you the way to privacy freedom.

People probably don't realize, just how often and in how many ways that total strangers are snooping in their lives. Whether the snooping means are video cameras, cell phones or through the Internet there are thousands of businesses, people and governments all up our personal business and lives.

Every time a person fills out a contest entry, sweepstakes form, survey application or joins an

Atlas of Lie Groups and Representations

Atlas of Lie Groups and Representations:

"The Atlas of Lie Groups and Representations is a project to make available information about representations semi-simple Lie groups over real and p-adic fields. Of particular importance is the problem of the unitary dual: classifying all of the irreducible unitary representations of a given Lie group.

We have computed Kazhdan-Lusztig polynomials for the split real group E8. Here are some details of the calculation, and David Vogan has written a narrative of the project. There is an introduction to the calculation at AIM."
